These days I run Windows Server 2019 on my desktop, which is still a decent experience. Tried Windows 11, but it doesn’t “capture” me. Still, I liked Windows 7 better, because it was a more cohesive OS.

The jump from Windows 8.x to Windows 10 wasn’t that large or much worse. Windows 8.x I didn’t find too bad of an OS either (with Classic Shell installed back then). Windows 7 was an improvement over Windows XP.
